Belize-Born Rapper Signs Seven-Figure Deal
CaribWorldNews, NEW YORK, NY, Thurs. Feb. 18, 2010: Belize-born rapper, Jamal Shyne Barrow, has signed a seven-figure deal with Def Jam records.
The former Bad Boy rapper and son of the Belize Prime Minister, Dean Barrow, reportedly opted to sign with L.A. Reid and Def Jam over Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre at Interscope.
Shyne is set to relocate to London for work on his forthcoming album.
Barrow was recently released from prison after serving more than nine years for a club shooting involving Sean `Diddy` Combs and Jennifer Lopez.
He was deported back to Belize in October, 2009.
Shyne has worked with Def Jam before and released his 2004 `Godfather: Buried Alive,` on the label.

On Monday February 15, the cafeteria at the R.C.School will open. The children will be able to have hot breakfasts and lunches as well as snacks. This long awaited day is very exciting to the 900 students and parents. This project has many stops and starts, but the results are worth the wait.

Last night’s sunset cruise was spectacular. While the sunset was nice – it was a bit over taken by clouds. It was massive orange slowly rising ball of the moon that surprised and wowed us. Cori Paul and I were wondering why the moon was not out yet and Carole came along telling us to get to the other side of the boat to see the moon rising out of the water – what an amazing sight.

Excellent customer service above and beyond expectations”
When you stay at Pedro's you will hopefully have the pleasure of being met by Cindy. She is one of the most friendly and helpful Hotel Managers I have met in my travels. This extended post vacation as well, after I arrived home and found I had left my camera charger in the wall socket of my room. The cleaning staff turned it in and Cindy sent it to me registered mail back to Canada. Its the kind of service you expect from a 4 star hotel not budget accommodation. Truely great service

King Kong Challenge
We had to do it. The 5.9478lb. challenge. So why do we call it the King Kong Challenge? Because only King Kong can finish it. What exactly is it?
The Burger
8 x 5oz. Legends Burger Patties (cooked medium)
8 x slices of American Cheese
8 x slices of Bacon
3 x Eggs (fried)

3oz. Grilled onions

The challenge is presented with a glass of water and a 6-pack of condiments. The water and condiments are optional and not required to complete the challenge. The challenger must complete the challenge within one hour in order to have their picture placed on the Wall of Fame. If the challenger completes the meal within 30 minutes, the meal will be complimentary. The menu price for the King Kong Challenge is $30.00.
Currently, nobody has completed the King Kong Challenge.
The current champion for the first version of the King Kong Burger (retired) is Wade the Gringo with the last bite clocking in at 24 minutes and 17 seconds.
All challengers who fail to complete the challenge will have their picture placed on the Wall of Shame, located in the restroom hallway.
